Shakespeare’s classic tale of star-crossed lovers performed by inch-high plastic ninjas and other tiny thespians on a briefcase-sized stage. Or, in the case of Romeo and Juliet, an ironing board. Tiny Ninja Theater was founded in 1999 to promote performance opportunities for vending machine thespians. The Tiny Ninja production of Macbeth was called a "diminutive delight" by Next Magazine, and a "plastiscene pleasure" by the Village Voice.
